Privacy policy
This policy covers crbcut.com, our marketing site, and the beta request form on it. The CRBCUT app at app.crbcut.com has its own terms. Effective October 8, 2026.
- Who we are
- CRBCUT ("we", "us") makes software for siting and designing EV charging, battery storage and other energy infrastructure. You can reach us about anything in this policy at aatish@crbcut.com.
- What you give us
- When you request beta access we receive what you type into the form: your name, work email, company, role, the states you are interested in and what you are working on. You choose what to put in the optional fields.
- What is collected automatically
- With a request we also record the page you sent it from, the time, and the country your connection comes from, as our hosting provider reports it. We do not store your IP address with your request. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs to run and protect the site.
- No tracking
- We do not run analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies on this site, and we do not sell or rent your information or share it for advertising.
- Spam protection
- The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile looks at signals from your browser and connection to make that check. Cloudflare's own privacy policy covers that processing.
- Fonts
- The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers to fetch them. Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
- How we use it
- We use your request to decide on and send beta invitations, to reply to you, and to understand which markets and kinds of projects people want CRBCUT for. We do not add you to a marketing list. If we want to send you anything beyond your request, we will ask first.
- Where it is kept
- Requests are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site, and may be emailed to us through our email provider so we see them quickly. These providers process the information on our behalf and under their own security and privacy terms. Your information may be stored and processed in the United States.
- How long we keep it
- We keep a request for as long as your beta access is being considered or used, and for no more than 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
- Your choices
- You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it or delete it. Email aatish@crbcut.com from the address you used and we will act on it within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under state privacy law; we will honor those requests the same way.
- Children
- This site is for businesses and property owners. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
- Security
- The site is served over HTTPS, and access to stored requests is limited to the people who handle beta access. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as financial or personal identification details through the form.
- Changes
- If we change this policy we will update it here and change the effective date at the top. If a change is material, we will say so on this page before it takes effect.
